Program Director
Job Description:
The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operation, management, and development of Peer Navigator Project. They will ensure the program’s success by providing strategic direction, securing funding, and coordinating all activities.
Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement program strategies and goals
- Secure funding through grant applications, sponsorships, and partnerships
- Oversee program budget and financial management
- Supervise staff and manage personnel-related matters
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including law firms, non-profits, and government agencies
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and impact
- Report on program activities and outcomes to funders and stakeholders
- Represent the program at conferences, workshops, and other relevant events
Program Coordinator
Job Description:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and organizing the day-to-day activities of Peer Navigator Project. They will work closely with the Program Director to ensure the program’s objectives are met and that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:

- Coordinate program activities, including recruitment, training, and placement of peer navigators
- Maintain relationships with partner organizations and stakeholders
- Assist with grant applications and funding proposals
- Develop and maintain program documentation and records
- Monitor and report on program progress and outcomes
- Assist with the organization of events and workshops
- Provide support to the Program Director as needed
Training Specialist
Job Description:
The Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering the comprehensive training program for peer navigators. They will ensure that all participants acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
Responsibilities:

- Develop curriculum and training materials for peer navigator
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for program participants
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to peer navigators
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program and make improvements as needed
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure successful placement of peer navigators
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in peer navigation
Community Outreach Coordinator
Job Description:
The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting Peer Navigator Project to the community and fostering partnerships with local organizations. They will work to raise awareness of the program and engage with stakeholders to ensure its success.

Peer Navigator (Program Participant)
Job Description:
As a Peer Navigator, the participant will support criminal defense attorneys by leveraging their unique perspective and experience within the criminal justice system. They will be responsible for various tasks related to case management and legal research.
Responsibilities:

- Assist criminal defense attorneys with client communication, document preparation, and case management
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as required
- Attend meetings, court hearings, and trials as needed
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with the Training Specialist and Program Coordinator to ensure successful program outcomes
Volunteer Coordinator
Job Description:
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the volunteer program within Peer Navigator Project. They will recruit, train, and support volunteers, ensuring their effective contribution to the program’s success. The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Program Director and other staff members to create a positive and rewarding experience for all volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer recruitment strategy
- Recruit, screen, and interview potential volunteers
- Conduct orientation and training sessions for new volunteers
- Assign and manage volunteer responsibilities based on individual skills, interests, and program needs
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and recognition to volunteers
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and performance
- Evaluate and improve the volunteer program based on feedback from volunteers and staff
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure effective integration of volunteers into program activities
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to volunteer performance or well-being
- Represent the volunteer program at conferences, workshops, and other relevant events
Qualifications:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Experience in volunteer management, human resources, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
